I’ve always wanted to see Coney Island. My husband Chris grew up in Brooklyn and when we visit my father in law we are never far from it. We finally decided to check it out.
Coney Art Walls was a great time. In the middle of the amusement park are 30 murals done by street artists, graffiti writers, fine artists and contemporary artists. Each one is beautiful in it’s own way. This awesome, free exhibit usually also has food trucks. It totally worth seeing, we really enjoyed viewing the art, and of course taking photos.
My outfit of the day was simple. It was a warm day and I knew I’d be by the beach so I threw on my favorite pair of high waisted jean shorts and an Erica Ray graphic tank. This style is my favorite right now. It’s comfortable and light. It is a little edgy and easy to wear with cute shorts, skirts, or jeans. The print is also one of my favorites. The spiked heel has always been a best seller. I tucked it in to define my waist and wore a bandeau underneath because of the large arm holes. My favorite summer bag completes my look. This vintage Gucci I’ve had for a few years and I try to wear it as often as possible. I piled on some of my favorite bracelets that I have collected on my travels and a ring I bought in Hawaii.
