My husband Is a huge fan of Disney. Anything Disney, and Disney World is his happy place. All of our magical trips over the years have turned me into a huge fan as well. When you go to Disney World it’s like being a kid again. I don’t like scary rides, I don’t do rollercoasters, but I enjoy every single thing we do in the parks, mini golf, the boardwalk, and mostly Epcot. We go when we get a chance, and even have annual passes, but one thing we had never done before this fall was attend Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival.
Epcot has always been my favorite spot in all of Disney World. It’s a park for adults and foodies alike. I always look forward to our days and nights of eating “around the world.” When we received our annual passes in January, we knew it was a must to finally come down to Florida for the food and wine festival this year, and it did not disappoint. With over 30 unique stands, each with authentic food, wine, and beer from each individual country, you are sure not to go hungry (or thirsty). In the days we attended the festival, we attempted to try as much as we could. Portions are tasting size, so you can enjoy as many stands as possible.
Chris and I went with my father-in-law this trip, some of our favorites are below. I don’t eat meat, but I do eat fish and everything I had was incredible. There were a ton of vegetarian options, as well as vegan. Each individual stand is designed to look authentic. The servers are mostly from the countries in which they’re representing. Disney does everything right, so we were not surprised by how well done the festival was. Along with the stands and incredible food, there are wine tastings going on cooking classes, cheese seminars, and more. I highly recommend attending the Food & Wine festival. Whether you are a disney fan or not, if you enjoy ethic cuisine, micro brews, and great wine, you will be amazed.
